About - Photography for Sale by Chelsea Tischler

About

Chelsea Tischler is an award-winning photographer based in Birmingham, Michigan. Since childhood, Chelsea has traveled extensively – to more than 30 countries on all seven continents. Throughout her travels, she became increasingly fascinated by nature, wildlife, and different cultures, all which inspired a profound interest in photography.

Chelsea is a stock photographer and has rights-managed representation with Gallery Stock. Major magazine publications include Rangefinder, PDN, Newsweek, Town & Country, Luxury, Parents, Wells Fargo Conversations, Condé Nast Traveller (India), Capital (Germany), Myself (Germany), Elle (France), and major commercial licensing includes Citibank, Hewlett Packard, and Meda Pharmaceuticals and others.

She has a growing portrait and wedding photography business in which she takes “magazine-style, magazine-quality” photographs of regular people. Her images are clean and bold, and are influenced heavily by her commercial and editorial work. “My ultimate goal is for my clients to feel like their images belong in a magazine”.

Chelsea’s professional career began as a Mechanical Engineer for the US Environmental Protection Agency, but after a move to California, she took her career in a more creative direction and studied photography at the Brooks Institute. Now back in Michigan, Chelsea lives with her husband and 3-year-old daughter, who provide endless inspiration and support.

Chelsea is a self-defined “travel-addict” and is learning Spanish in her free time. For more information on purchasing a license for Chelsea’s stock photography, please contact her agency, Gallery Stock.
